Hello, all,
I'm not a seller of any of these products, just the mom of a newly diagnosed Lupus patient. Her battle is being 21, having to stay out of the sun PLUS being a fair-skinned redhead.
If someone has good info on sunscreens different from this, I'd love to see that as well.
This site talks about sunscreens that can fail to provide the SPF they claim and some that contain ingredients that can be harmful to people with autoimmune problems.
The gist is to stick to products that contain zinc and titanium?
http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/special/sunscreens/nanotech.php
"We found that consumers using sunscreens without zinc and titanium would be exposed to an average of 20% more UVA radiation — with increased risks for UVA-induced skin damage, premature aging, wrinkling, and UV-induced immune system damage — than consumers using zinc — and titanium-based products."
Take care,
Nancy
