Well, I spent the weekend back in the hospital on IV antibiotics for celluli*** in my let!  That stuff can get nasty!  I truly hate er's!  The first thing the nurse walks in and says, so I guess you need pain meds!  I was furious!  So was my doc when I told her.  She told me she would take care of it.  I'm sick of being treated like a dope head!  I don't even currently take any pain meds! Where do these people get off?  Urggghhh!

Off topic-  My sister-in-law's dad, 49 years old, dropped dead Saturday morning of a massive heart attack.  No previous history at all, very sudden and unexpected.  Please say a pray for the Grady family.  They are devastated.  God Bless you all!  Judy

(((((((((( Judy ))))))))))) So sorry about the ER incident. Its hard enough to drag but into the ER w/o being so misunderstood too. AKKKKKKK!!! Oh no! your poor inlaws!! That must be so devastating. Prayers on the way. Blessings!

Greetings Judy! It sometimes amazes me to encounter healthcare workers who are so insensitive. I wonder why they even bothered to go into a field where caring and empathy for others is so necessary. Also, so sorry to hear about your sister in-law's father. How very sad. I will keep you all in my prayers.

Yeah when I wan't holding down even fluids I avoided the ER because they would have assumed I wanted pain meds when what I really wanted was to be able to drink some fluids and hold down my meds.

So sorry to hear about all your bad luck! Some people can be so insensitive. Makes you wonder why they ever would choose a career where their main goal is to HELP people. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Judy, I'm also sorry about your experience in the ER. I think that's why so many of us hate the ER and try not to go - it shouldn't be that way. Have the antibiotics helped? Hopefully you have been able to get some relief and also hope you are getting some rest. I'm so sorry to hear about your SIL's loss. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Thanks to everyone for you concern.  They put me on IV Rocephin and kept me at the hospital over the weekend.  Now, I am on levaquin by mouth.  My leg is much better!  My kidney function is down to 16%!  YUCK!  I have to be retested in two weeks and if it stays under 25% consistently they will put an access in my arm and when it gets to 10% they will start dialysis.  I'm not thrilled about it, but I guess i'm resolute.  I feel so tired all the time.  God Bless You all, Judy

  I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience in the hospital as well as your kidney problems...((Hugs)). I hope things will turn around for you soon. I'm also sorry to hear about your sil's dad. They will be in my thoughts and prayers as well as you. Please take care and keep us updated.
