Listen to your attorney and prepare yourself according to his/her instructions. Make sure that you do not ab lib. There are many things that you can say innocently that can be used to deny a claim but your attorney, if he specializes in disability, will know how to coach you.
I was lucky and did not actually have to appear before the judge but my attorney handled everything in regard to the paperwork. He did not leave any detail to chance and was able to tell me exactly why I got denied 2 times even though I was completely crippled at the time and had a slim chance of recovery. Hated to spend the money but I don't think I could have gotten it otherwise.
Good luck,
Bill
