Chemical free living does it help lupus?

I have been having alot of breathing problems and it seems to be worse when I'm around chemicals, hairsprays, cleaners, even newspaper print gets to me.  I read that people with lupus can be over sensitive to these things.  I want to do something to change, like use more natural and chemical free things to clean ect.. Have any of you changed those things and did it help at all?  Also if you did try things what products work for you? 

Like Lynnwood, someone else does my cleaning so I don't have to breathe in the fumes. I haven't switched to green products but should. I have gone organic in my choice of foods. I find that when I eat natural foods, mostly fresh fruits and vegetables, I start to feel much better. When I switched to a gluten-free, sugar-free, natural foods diet, within a week I felt like a new person -- less joint pain, less fatigue. I have read for years that there is some thinking that hair dye can cause lupus so I stopped coloring my hair.

So now it's time for me to bite the bullet and start purchasing the green cleaning agents. I did try some geen dryer fluffs and they were worse than using nothing at all. Thank goodness green products are somewhat easier to find.

I, well, we - use only vinegar and baking soda for cleaning. I mop all surfaces with vinegar and any scrubbing with baking soda. I have a friend who used baking soda to wash her hair and vinegar to rinse. I've never tried it but she has beautiful hair. Also - vinegar makes a great fabric softener. I buy a gallon jug of vinegar for the laundry room and add vanilla or another oil - just a few drops. as soon as vinegar dries all the vinegar odor is gone.
