Lupus walk & update

Okay, I have a brain fog moment you can enjoy.  This happened last week so it's still very fresh in my head....

 

Hubby and I went for a long walk last Sunday afternoon.  We got back to the house, walked in the front door, and instead of taking off my shoes....... I undid my pants.  Hubby thought he was about to get lucky right there at the door.  Hahahaha!

Well here is mine, since its been so nice out my hubby and I have walking everyday and taking drives to the mountains so pertty, well anyway I had to get test done today forgot to call in my referrall, and forgot how to get home, which is only 15mins away I kept telling him to turn he said what are going into one of those brain fogs again. lol... I said it must be from to much sun, well I just kept quite. So now I will rest since I tired.

Ginny, I almost choked to death when I read your brain fog moment. I had just taken a drink and was getting ready to swallow and swalling and trying to laugh is not a good combination.

my brain fog moment...I have so many but I decided this is the best one. A few weeks ago I was driving to work...well I ended up in my high school parking lot wondering why someone was in my parking space. I was so confused adn about 5 min later when I finally realized I had graduated 3 years before and was on my way to work, I couldnt stop laughing. I laughed for the whole 45 min drive and then had to explain to my boss why I was late(laughing the whole time). yeah, I am sure she thought I had taken one too many drugs...

Thanks for the congrats and the great stories Ladies. Amy, I've been retired cause of lupus almost a year and still wake up thinking, #&*@ I have to go to work. For anyone wanting to know what a neuro/psych exam is like, it's 6 hours sitting with a tech who makes you do endless puzzles and questions. Late in the day, the tech asked me what was similar in the words praise and punishment. Umm, they begin with P... She asked, "Can you tell me more?" ....They're a result of something you do..."Can you tell me more?" (I'm getting ticked)...Uh, it's something someone does to you as a result of something you do. "Can you tell me more?" (I'm really ticked)...No, that's all I can think of. So then she asked what's similar in the words hibernation and migration... It's something animals do at certain times of year. She looks at her notes and asks, "Can you tell me more?" .....I wanted to slap her

OK I was with a friend of mine and told her that I mentioned to the dr. about how frustrating it was that my short term memory was so bad. She said oh really what did he say it was????LOL I couldn't remember! I told her to ask me in a couple months when it wasn't short term anymore.

Actually I did finally remember what it was and he said it was from the xanax and from the sleep apnea which I noticed you have. I just don't use my cpap to much so I'm gonna try and see if it helps. Do you use a cpap?
