skin problems

Does anyone have chronic skin problems, such as when shaving legs  you're skin explodes into being itchy and inflamed for days? It doesn't seem to matter what kind of razor/wax/nair/etc. I use.

I also have keratosis on my upper arms and upper legs, which seems to be getting worse.

The doctors can't seem to diagnose me. I'm about to go crazy!! I wonder if any of this could be lupus related?

Any thoughts?

Hello Jen. welcome..I never heard of it keratosis ..But I look it up it sounds like it's herrditary I'm sure you knew that, did you try creams if you did apparently its not working. I have dry skin but that is due to lupus my doc. perscribe me amlactin for dry skin works pertty good. I'm sure other forums members will come along and give you some advise. Sorry I'm not much help. Hi Jen . . . I have sensitive legs, but seem to do ok if I use a new razor each time. I'm bumping this back up in case someone else might have some ideas for you. Sorry you haven't gotten more responses. Blessings!
