Tinted Windows

Since I grew up in Florida, I've always had the darkest tint allowed by law on all my cars.

I don't usually think much about it, but I know it helps -- when I travel in someone else's car is when I run into trouble - like "driver's arm" sunburn!

Remember that different states have different laws about what is the darkest allowed, so be careful if you live near state lines. If you have it done professionally, keep the receipt certifying the tint rating in your car in case some obsessed police officer ever stops you - and remember it can on;y be put on the top 4 inches of the windshield!

I don't have lupus, but do have RA and in the last few months the sun is really making me sick and I have to agree with the window tinting idea!! I've had tinted windows in the past and I'm having the windows done on the car I have now, well worth it!

I live in la, ca we also have strict tinted window laws. i live literally around the corner from a police station and have never been pulled over for window tinting, i find that they only will mess with you if its super dark and they're already pulling you over for something else. unfortunately my perfect driving record streak came to an end on mothers day when i was cited for not obeying street signs and still police officer did not mention my medium tinted windows. my reumi also said its a great idea espeically with so many people getting skin cancer nowadays.
