Undiagnosed hives

As many of you I am new here, lurking for the past few days. I will be seeing a rheumy next week. I have had hives for almost 3 months now. Initially thought was allergies, but now not sure. Had a positive rheumatoid factor and ana titer of 1:320 with a speckled pattern. Have never really had any other symptoms, like fever, joint pain or swelling. The hives have been much better the past couple of weeks, but have noticed some aching and numbness in arms and hands last week or so. On several antihistamines, atarax and medrol dose pack a few weeks ago and have gained 15 lbs since the meds. UGH! Does this sound familiar to anyone? Any advice that would be helpful before seeing rheumy? I am trying to keep a positve attitude and not worry too much. Thanks in advance.

Thanks. I have taken a few pictures recently, but the hives have not been anything like they were. There were a few days/weeks I thought I was going to go crazy. If someone would have told me to cover my body with battery acid and the hives would go away, I would have done it!
