Has anyone known of anyone diagnosed with Lupus to have a perforated diverticulitis, end up with a colostomy, and after the surgery have a ton of complications including polymopathy and possible neuropathy?
My husband has been diagnosed with Lupus and RA for over 8 years now, had a perforated diverticulitis on August 16, had surgery, now has a colostomy, lost 70 pounds to date, initially diagnosed with Guillilan-Barre Syndrome, then they said it was not that, cannot swallow his food due to throat issues after surgery and possible aspiritation, severy myopathy, and is still in hospital going through rehab. He still cannot lift himself up, has a feeding tube and so on.................... Anyone out there known of anything similar.
Doc's still do not have a clear diagnosis.
HELP?????
