I am still trying to figure out this puzzle of my health stuff. Quick recap- positive ana (1:640), Raynaud's, anemia, joint pain, gastroparesis and chronic stomach inlamation, family history of RA. Sent to a rheumy who did DNA testing and said no lupus but said I could be brewing something in the future. Last week I went to an orthopedic surgeon to talk about some back trouble I am having. My spine is fused T3-L2 due to Scheurmann's kyphosis. He was checking several things and said that I was very hyperreflexive in my arms and also had a positive Hoffman's sign in my hands. He did an MRI of my cervical spine, which has come back negative for tumors, etc. He is sending me to a neurologist to try to figure out what is causing these symptoms. I do have pain in my arms and tingling in my hands, which is probably all related to the hyperreflexia. My question is, does lupus or other autoimmune diseases cause neurological symptoms such as these? I am just trying to find a cause for this.
Thanks for any info.
