I went to my rheumy for my usual checkup and he ordered the usual blood work. I just started graduate school so I can get my labs done for free at the health clinic at school, then they fax the results to my rheumy. When I went by my health clinic to get my results (my rheumy was on vacation and I didn't want to wait a week) , they just handed me the paperwork and didn't explain anything to me. According to the results, 3 of my tests were abnormal. My rheumy called me yesterday and told me all of my blood work was fine and he would see me in 3 months. I wish I had asked him about the 3 abnormal results on my lab work, because now I can't stop thinking about them. Is it normal to have some abnormalities in your blood work? I've never actually been shown the written results to my labs before so maybe it's common to have a couple of things elevated? Thanks for reading and I hope everyone is feeling okay this weekend :)
