rash

Hey guys. I'm currently midst being tested for lyme and autoimmune diseases. I have a myriad of symptoms but one recent development is alarming the heck out of me. I woke up with an itchy, bumpy rash of little red dots that has been spreading and darkening with each day that passes. I have an appointment with a dermatologist on wednesday that my rhuematologist recommended but the wait is killing me as it gets darker and itchier every day.

I've been googling the hell out of this, desperate to find some answers. Some of the pictures I've seen of autoimmune disease rashes look exactly like what I have but mine is on my lower abdomen, inner thighs and one armpit. I haven't found much information about autoimmune rashes appearing on the abdomen/thighs. Has anyone ever seen/experienced that?

I'm new to this myself. It does sound like an allergy reaction. Can you rub some benadryl cream on it?
