Having a Flare after 7 years in remission

Can anyone give me some ideas to alleviate my neck pain? I I can't get comfortable at night and if just my neck was okay I could deal with my other joint pain.
For the first week of the flare, I was taking IB profen and just this past weekend I started taking Aleve. I also use a heating pad on my joints especially my neck. Can anyone suggest any other therapies until I see a doctor in two weeks?
I have been in remission for 7 years!!!

Thank you for your response! Yes I was thinking a massage. I salivate at the idea. I just want to sleep through the night.

It definitely depends on the massage therapist, their method & training & their sensibility in learning how to treat a lupus body.

I would also suggest warm damp heat (wet compress) alternated with cold wet compress. Or standing in the shower with warm/hot water on shoulders/neck till they relax.
