2 weeks ago when I saw my rheumatologist he had pointed out that i had a rash on my face that didn't look like eczema like I have on other parts of my body, and he was going to do blood testing for something regarding the rash and if it didn't show anything or show enough he would biopsy it. I see him on Thursday, so it's not far away.
But however, three days ago I noticed something weird. A little under the rash, just above my jawline, there is a kind of lump inside my cheek. It's not in my gums, it's not a tooth, I can't see anything in my gums when I open my mouth. And when I kind of squeeze it it kind of moves if you will, and its only painful when I touch it...could it be a swollen lymph node or something?
I just started my job last week, I work in a department store and I worked 2 five hour shifts in a row the past two days and I am exhausted even more after, and am in so much more pain after. The store is so hot, no AC, and it just makes it worse. My migraines and other symptoms are worse after I do a lot of walking whether it's at work or anywhere else. I feel so horrible and I've only worked at this place for not even 2 weeks and I already want to call in sick tomorrow night.
The doctors, with the exception of my rheumatologist, keep treating me like all my symptoms are in my head. My heart off and on will race so horribly to the point where I can feel my heart beat in the bottom of my feet, my palms, fingers, and my armpits. I can just feel it everywhere. And they keep telling me it's anxiety but i completely disagree because I will be sitting watching a movie or something and it will just happen out of nowhere. I really just want to give up because it seems like everyone just thinks I'm crazy or something. I am far from crazy and it isn't fair that doctors keep making assumptions that I am based on a couple of blood tests coming back "normal."
I guess on the positive note I will find out the blood test results on thursday from my rheumy to see what's going on.
