Vertigo

Anyone have trouble with severe bouts of vertigo?  Everytime my wife starts to get better she gets hit out of the blue with a severe vertigo attack that can last days to weeks to months.  Her last bad attack was about a month ago and never quite left but this morning it happened again.  Pretty demoralizing when for the first time in months she was starting to do some things again other than lay in bed.  I'm beginning to think there is no end to this.  Is it just a flair or is this the way its going to be for the rest of her life?  I know she will likely be normal but this is zero quality of life.

Vertigo, fatigue, joint pain, rashes, memory problems, hair loss, depression, swallowing problems (a new problem), headaches, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some stuff.

On: Methotrexate, 35 mg Pred, Plaquenil, fentonol, celexa, antivert, zofran, valium, and more!

My hubby had a severe vertigo attack at work one day a few months back and it was bad. He was ashen, lethargic, vomiting, sweating, and very weak. The er doctor figured it out almost immediately by looking at his eyes.
Does she not take medication for it? Has she had therapy? There are excersizes that help undo the effects from vertigo. I think you could even look them up on google.
I am sorry that she has to suffer with this. If her episodes are anything like his was.....lets just say that I would never, ever want to see him go thru that again.
