Do I need to worry about this?

Over the past couple of days I've developed a mild sore throat and occasional cough. Since I'm on plaquenil do I need to tell a doctor about this or just wait it out? confused   I've got a low grade fever, too.

I'm confused about what to do if you get sick while on this medicine.

I've been sucking on cough drops and taking vitamin C.

Also I've been getting crazy itching. My arms and sometimes my legs wil just itch like crazy like something's crawling under my skin. I'll look and see nothing there...no dry skin, no ezema, no rash or redness.

Lotion doesn't help smhair  

Any tips?

Plaquenil should not affect anything about getting sick -- it's only the anti-inflammatory meds like prednisone that affect minor everyday illnesses.

Cough drops, Vit C, normal cold/flu prevention actions/meds should be fine.

Itching can be a sign of mild inflammation going on -- try taking a NSAID such as ibuprofen - as much as can be taken in a day - it addresses mild inflammations & will help with low grade fevers as well.

If you get a fever that is over 101, I would consider getting that looked at. If not, try to get it some time to clear out on its own. Of course if you still have it or it continues getting worse after a few days, that is when you should see a doctor.

I forgot to add I'm on mobic daily for my pains.
