lupus now diagnosed with intestinal bowel inflammation?

Hi Im a new member and confused as i have had symptoms over a period of time due to maybe extreme stress ,IBS,or lupus? I am actually feeling better but because of my blood results, anemia, stool tests and losing weight etc, my doctor has got me in for a colonoscopy.I know this is most unpleasant @ because i am feeling better i dont want to go through any tests I dont need? I do have a really good doctor and know he is only trying to help me,but i have put on a few pounds now and my symptoms have subsided although i do feel dizzy and lightheaded sometimes.

So I just wondered if anyone out there had had a similar experience?
