How many of you have been refused health insurance due to Lupus?
I lost the insurance I had when I was laid off and couldn't afford COBRA. Now when I apply for insurance I've been told to sign up for PCIP (pre-existing condition insurance).
PCIP says you've got to not be covered for 6 months before they accept you or have a refusal letter signed by an Agent. Plus it's very expensive!!! 
I applied over the net and was refused over the phone.... How do I get the letter?
I've got to get it to them within 10 days.
Were you able to get health insurance quickly and who was it with?
