Just wondering, again....I have been having one red eye every week--not usually the same eye. I am not sure if it is related to the UCTD or if I need to see my doctor about
antibiotic eye drops or if I need to discontinue my eye makeup. Any suggestions??

Discontinue eye makeup first, see if it's related.
This doesn't sound like the infection commonly known as pink eye -- it's more like your eye has a cold and hard crusty mucus dries around the eye making it difficult to
open.
Is the eye red one day or all week?

my eye will normally take two or three days to clear up. i'm thinking that my contacts might play a part in it too. i don't wear them when my eyes are red.

Yes I was thinking I may need to talk to the eye doctor, just dreading that he may tell me no more contacts.
