new doc

Hey Everyone,

So my saga of finding a new Rheumatologist has come to an end. I did get a referral to a doc in Santa Rosa. If you remember, I will be driving 4 hours for that appointment. I am scheduled to see him April 21st and naturally, I am a little nervous. I have had a female Rheumatologist for so long and I love the idea of having that kind of relationship. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I will stay in a hotel the day of the appointment, since it is late....and use my free time shopping at Trader's Joes!!! On another note, the Prednisone taper seems to be going well. I had a few road bumps when I first decreased to 7 mg. Now I am just trying to keep my stress level down. The last three months of the school year are always a little hectic. Between hormones and spring, the kids are a little CRAZY!!!

Wow! That's a long drive. I thought my 40 minute drive was too long. I hope he's worth the trip.
