For several days I've been waking up with an odd symptom.
My arms are covered with red spots. They are not petecia (blood spots). They are the size of the o in this sentence and a pale red tone. They stay for several hours to all day. They don't itch or hurt but my arms do feel numb-ish to the touch.

Do any of you experience this?

I have noticed a few of these here and there just recently- I'd be curious as to the cause too!
It's very warm here this week- maybe heat?

I sleep in the daytime with the house temperture at 76 degrees and a fan on high blowing on me. I wear shorty pjs and use a light weight sheet.

As a light-skinned pink & white girl who grew up outside in FL I have more red, pink, white & tan spots and such than you can shake a stick at!! SO I never worry about a few more coming & going...

Do you feel a piece of paper gently ticking your arms? Or is it more than your fingers are not as sensitive? If there is a distinct numb feeling that continues or increases that is associated mainly with these spots, I might ask a Dr about it.

But you say you wake up with them -- does that mean they go away once you are up & about? You might just have a little heat rash.

When I rub my arm it feels odd, both to my fingers and my arm, but more to my arm.
It usually takes several hours for them to fade. Sometimes it lasts all day.
