does anyone here have vasculitis?

What are your symptoms? I am thinking I do but my doctors are not being much help and all I can find online is a vague list of symptoms I already had like malaise and fatigue. I was just wondering if anyone had any more specific symptoms.

Hi Heather,

I have vasculitis, but my prednisone keeps it under control very well. It's inflammation of your blood vessels. One key symptom or sign of vasculitis is something called "splinter hemorrahges". If you look at your fingernails and see small brown lines in them. That is a clear sign of it. Another symptom is headaches, and other skin discolorations. I have one called livido reticularis. On my wrist and ankle.

I had vasculitis on both my lower front leg three months ago, and the doc increased the pred to keep them under control. I had them because of lupus flare. It was red, swollen, and extremely painful. It was kind of like big brusies, but not exactly brusies. It took me a month to heal, but the mark was there until two to three months after.
