Sun poisoning??????

Hi everyone.  It's been a few days and I am not feeling well at all.  I went to the swimming pool with my twin sis and her kids last Monday and it was a very cloudy overcast (not sunny) day.  I used suntan lotion.  I got sunburned on my legs somehow.  The redness from the sunburn is gone and in its place on my legs are little red dots where the sunburn was.  They are aboutthe size of a pin head and itch like mad.  I have been using hydrocortisone cream and it stops the itch temporarily.  Has anyone ever had this from sun exposure?  I am also very COLD today.  Can't seem to get warm at all (chills).  I am staying at my folks house while they are out of town and have actually turned on the gas fireplace to see if I can warm up.  NO fever.  And other places I got burned do not have this rash.  Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  This is all on top of bladder infection I've had for two weeks now (which seems better the last few days).

Just a thought. Allergies can develop at any time. Is it possible that you are allergic to whatever antibiotic they put you on for the bladder infection? I, too, react strongly to the sun, but, I also have a lot of allergies and it's just something to think about!

I get that sometimes too, they itch and burn. I was rx'd hydrocortisone cream (are you using prescription strength?) and it seems to help, in fact that stuff works for most of my rashes (especially the itchy ones). Since you are having other issues besides your skin, it would seem like sun poisoning to me also. Sun poisoning to me is usually headache, rashes, nausea and/or vomiting, and chills so it sounds familiar.
