Good early morning to everyone. Yeh, it's 2:27 AM and I should be asleep but have been having a horrible time with sleeping lately. I'ts annoying. I'm taking Lunesta but it doesn't seem to be working. I'm gonna talk to my doctor and see if it is a med you can build up a tolerance to and that is why it isn't working. Frustrating to be awake when everyone else is asleep.
I have a kinda weird thing going on and am wondering if it has anything to do with my lupus or just perimenopause hot flashes. I've been having hot flashes for weeks now. But, that isn't the weird part. Whenever I go outside for just maybe a few minutes in the shade and its been about 90 degrees here, I don't sweat at all when I'm out there, but within seconds to a minute of coming back into the A/C, I'm perfusely sweating and suffering from what feels like a hot flash. Is this my body not regulating temperature right? Is is my body is not able to readjust right to temp differences or what?
I have been just thinking it was all hot flash related but now wondering if it may be yet another symptom of lupus where we can't regulate our body temperature correctly and if that is the case here what do I do?
My cycles have been irregular for like 7 years now. May have a period every 15 days to every 70 and I am on day 52 of of none right now and have been thinking hormones were causing all this but the going outside and coming back in and breaking out in a sweat is what has me worrying.
By the way, my bladder infection is basically gone and the antibiotics I took gave me thrush that I was treated for with a 5 day cours of Diflucan and I still have the thrush. When I saw the doctor last week I told him to put in my chart what happens every time I take an oral antibiotic and that I need Diflucan to be taken while I am on the antibiotic. Hopefully, I can reach him tomorrow (today since it is 2:30am Monday now) and have some more Diflucan called out so I can get rid of the thrush.
With us lupies, if it aint' one thing it's another huh.
