ANA test positive

Hi ka and welcome. I'm not sure how much you have read about the ANA test but a positive ANA can be present in multiple autoimmune diseases, or some healthy people can even have a positive ANA. However, if you have a positive ANA and are having symptoms, a doc needs to look into it further and run additional test more specific for lupus and several other autoimmune diseases. In my opinion, the next move would be to get a referral to a good rheumatologist who is very familiar with autoimmune diseases. Trying to take in everything at first can be overwhelming. Something that has helped a lot of people is to keep a log of your symptoms, even things that might seem small to you or not related can help doctors put all the pieces of the puzzle together and keeping the log will help you not forget to tell the doc something.
