Hi hippi, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better but pleasse don't take more pred. than absolutely needed. if you start bouncing off the walls I'm not sure how much good that will do you in your over all healing process. I'm like you I have no idea about taking extra pred. I hate it so much if I really feel my back is again the wall I might take 2.5 just for one day if I can get away with it. I don't like the tapering that goes along with longer period of time.
Try to rest as much as possible and let someone else do a load of laundry!
