Wlee I should find out tonight if this is flare

I'm headed to hospital as soon as friend gets home.

Body is cramping all over, Right hand keeps curling and left foot plus pain comes and goes in right back area around kidneys. My cheecks feel hot hands are sweating on and off body just feels like doodoo.

Well I'll let you all know what dr. says.

Well all lood work looked good he checked my kidneys since when I go to the bathroom it has an oder that came back good also. He said that he thought that it is a viral syndrom.

I'm ready to scream. I know what the flu feels like and just because other people are goin to hospital for flu I didn't. He had them do an ekg on me and chest e-ray. Wish he had done one on my foot that started all of this this morning.

Okay done ranting.

Hi Veronica . . . sorry it was a bummer hospital visit. What did they say about your curling hands and the cramping?? Is that what they are calling viral?? One negative blood test does NOT tell you that you don't have lupus. It does help narrow things down when the doctor has lots of other info. Make sure your keep a symptom diary or list. So you can bring it to your next doctor appointment. Some hot tea for you sis! Blessings!

Veronica, make sure to see my post on your other post. I think there are several things that can cause the problems you are having and you need to get them checked out. Sometimes the ER just figures that you'll get worse or better. If you get better, oh well, its not their problem, if you get worse, then it will be easier for them to find out what is wrong. Our ERs won't diagnose anything. Was your ANA elevated but you didn't have anti-ds-dna? Be sure to get that thyroid antibody test done and perhaps some adrenals and vitamins like vitamin D. Maybe some gatorade or electrolytes stuff will help in the meantime. I had UT symptoms, frequency and urgency, with no infection for months and had to go to a urologist and they found I had chronic inflammation of the bladder floor and polyps. It also made my kidneys ache bad too, but CT of kidneys was fine. Don't know if any of this sounds like you, but pursue the bladder thing if you are having symptoms and maybe you have some spinal issues, osteoarthritis? I would demand some help from your PCP in figuring this out and just tell them very frankly that you are sick and scared and you can't live with it! Sure hope you get through this tough spot soon.
