Unfortunately, there is no quick fix for lupus. In fact it's the opposite.... Having autoimmune diabetes can certainly put you at a higher risk for other autoimmune diseases, but so much is taken into consideration when a lupus diagnosis is on the line. Doctors have to be 100% certain it's lupus because the treatments are very powerful and often present their own problems.
I would suggest getting as much rest as you can in the next couple of days, and try to eliminate stress. Try taking hot baths to calm the back and shoulder aches. Have you thought of seeing a chiropractor? Or getting a massage? That can help too.
As for the high liver enzymes, that is something that can be seen in diabetes too. So it's good that your doctor is doing tests, he just has to make the right diagnosis. Most lupus diagnosis's take many years to get. Although, if all the right things line up, it could be faster.
I wish there was a quick fix for how you feel. I'm sorry you are suffering. Please keep us posted on what you learn from the doctor okay.
