There is a prescript
ion called evoxac which works really well but can be expensive. She would need to see her doctor and/or dentist for this. Dry mouth can cause serious problems with the teeth and also can be a sign of health problems. Be sure she gets at least 8 8oz glasses of water per day- preferably more as chronic dehydration can also cause dry mouth that lasts

She could also try Biotene toothpaste and Biotene mouthwash (available at most WalMart, Walgreens, Rite-Aid, etc) and see if that brings relief. My dentist also says to buy lemon drops (sugar-free!) to cause me to produce more saliva from the sour taste. All of this seems to do the trick - good luck!
