hopingToFindCure-
I know there is a feeling of remission if not feeling "cured" because I was there for 1 year almost 2. I had been in different stages of Lymes 15 years. When I finally finished my meds it took a couple of years to built up my strength. Then it seems like spring came and I felt better than I had in years and each day I felt better and better.
Unbeknownst to me I had the co-infection babesia. When I started feeling bad again and was losing ground my daily question was:
Is it "I'm doing well, but my !@#$ still hurts like hell"?
As I was seen by various different doctors, their comment was usually "You've had Lymes what do you expect."
So then my daily question was:
How do we know I guess if this is as good as it gets?
Now, I'm working through the Mepron/Zithro with the goal of getting back what I had just a couple of years ago.
Together we can do this with support, sharing information and education.
I didn't have the forums and blogs before when I went through treatment and I SOOO appreciate having them now.
Good luck to you and thanks for sharing your questions and thoughts.
