wheat grass did wonders for me once upon a time.

it is great for cleaning you out. when you drink like a shot glass full you should go for brisk walk after and also be doing enemas.

I wouldn't make a smoothie out of it. I have always done it on raw retreats.
It has all the properties of blood minus one molecule. I used it when I was on inteferon and all my bloood counts fell too low and it brought me back to life.

You can take the first cutting and juice to drink and then let it grow again and use second cutting for enema implant.

Ann wigmore has a great book about this and you can find all over internet.

Never tried wheatgrass nor have I researched it but I think (I could be wrong) that it's in the product that I drink which is Green Vibrance (I swear by that stuff!).... Tastes disgusting but I get it down..

I realize this is an old thread, but just in case someone stumbles upon it and still wants to know what a good affordable juicer for wheatgrass. I just got mine and have used it for about a week, it is awesome! It's a hand crank kind but it's soooo easy and super easy to clean (read- not much hassle if you don't have energy to spare)
It comes with a clamp for the counter but it also has this cool little suction feature on the base when you turn the lock handle, so I don't need to even clamp mine when using on my countertop, and it's really sturdy.
Anyway it's called Healthy Juicer Wheat Grass Juicer. It was around 60 on Amazon.. then the grass seeds I found (also on Amazon) are called Powergrow wheatgrass organic non gmo, I think it was like 5 lbs for around 11 dollars.... and it's actually making pretty grass that is pretty delicious... I was prepared for it to be bitter like I had read or even at best kind of earthy...but it's actually making some sweet vibrant juice.

Yes you absolutely could grow it in the house...I'm in Alabama....I didn't need a special environment, I only have one sunny window in my house in the winter too...I just set the trays in that window, they don't seem to need a ton of sun because I also kept one tray in a different room where the sun was not coming in directly and that one also grew readily, though it was not quite the deep green as the ones who got the little bit of sun.
I also keep my house on the warmer side both summer and winter bc I have a very old frail cat, so it's usually in the mid to high 70's inside and it all just grew like mad..
from what I read the mold is from using too thick of layer of seeds, the idea being good airflow around the stems and not overwatering will prevent mold just fine, so far that seems to be the case. Once the roots grow down I've been watering in the tray it at the base and I think that may help the mold issue as well.

the lady showing it uses both the suction and the table clamp but so far I've just used the suction and it is really sturdy until you release it.
I guess it would be considered a masticating juicer even though it is manual? It is really, really easy to use, I'm even happier with it than I was anticipating! When I'm done a quick rinse of the parts and let it dry in the dish rack, I've been adding the grass fiber it spits out into my compost bin.
I was not familiar with the vitamix so I looked it up, some people say you can't but this lady shows how she does it- I've seen similar videos with blenders, it seems to work ok as long as people mince the grass up small so it doesn't wrap around the parts and mess up your machine..

Hope this helps! I know it's doing something to help me, bc when I drink the juice I get that same sensation I get after taking anti-lyme herbs, so lyme doesn't like it, which makes me love it all the more.
