I have had a chronic problem with my skin and scalp. I am also mold-injured. Do any of you with Lyme have the sores on your scalp? Thanks-

Two times that I can remember in my illness that's about
2 1/2 years I had 4 or 5 pimples form on my head.
First time was behind my ear and the second time was at the base of my scalp. They were very sore. I wanted
to call them fever blisters. I don't know but I'd say it's my undiagnosed bart. They stayed about
a week if I
remember right (as you know most of us here on this sight don't remember right so take it with a grain of salt).

yes I have sores on my scalp; during last winter it was extremely bad; they healed completely during spring and summer; I have this for some years now - reason unknown, big miracle; really boring; it comes and goes; currently I have 3 sore spots on my scalp; it is not a mycotic infection; doc says she does not think it is an allergy (<-several tests therfore, but who really knows); it is suppost that I have ACA too; lyme tested positive (igg elisa and westernblod);
hope this helps!

Dowa -
the derm doc thinks EVERYTHING is possible with lyme, she says there is a big lack of research and a lot of diagnosted chronic skin problems could also be late manifestations of lyme instead of a chronic dermatitis or other things;
What does your doc say?? how is it in the states with those sore spots, do they think, this is a kind of skin manifestation of lyme besides (or additional to) the ACA?? that would interest me a lot!

I get sores on my scalp, the show up and then scab over and slowly go away. I have a rash (that I can't see or feel) at the base of my skull under my hair that my LLMD says in Babesia. Don't know if the sores are Babesia too. One day I'll remember to ask my LLMD if they are the same thing.
