Oh, man, this is one I have experience with.
I used to be a perfectionist when it came to my handwriting. Very neat, legible letters and spacing. Always printed. Avoided cursive at all costs. Always got compliments from peers and teachers on my printing.
Boom. Lyme hit. My printing suffered. So bad my old teachers wouldn't recognize that it's my handwriting. And my handwriting is now a muttle up combination of printing and cursive. The letters sort of run together and physically writing out words seems harder. Takes more concentration than it should. I've given up being a perfectionist. Takes too much energy out of me.
I've seen some neurological improvements from my tx lately, and my writing got slightly better. So i'm keeping my hopes up.
Good luck.
