Im back after 2 years.. my story...

Well my last post here was about 2 years ago and I'm back for some advice and input.  A little about myself, I am 27/f.  May 2006 I was hit with some major symptoms which include:  tingling, numbness, headache, backache, neckache, twitching, floaters, eye pain, buzzing in the ears, and many more.  After a good 3 months of al these symptoms they all disappeared.  Feb 2007 most of the symptoms came back again and some more new ones.  I had all these symptoms until August 2007, which I also found out I was pregnant.  This is when I decided to see a LLMD.  I went and saw Dr. S.H, my test results:

My results the first time around were:

igm- 39+ 41 IND
igg- 41+ 66+ 39 IND

He put me on 10 days amoxy and made me retest again only for IGM;

Results were:

41+
39 IND

Then asked me to take a 30/31 kda test which would determine if I had lyme and that came back negative.  I stopped taking the amoxy after 10 days.  During pregnancy I had some symptoms but not too many.  He also said that if I indeed did have lyme then after giving birth I would be hit real hard with symptoms which never happenend (Thank God).  Well my baby girl will be 9 months tomorrow and I just found out I am pregnant again, but also started to get this weird feeling in my body that I am sure is not pregnancy related.  My whole body has this aching feeling, my shoulders, neck and back and I have this overall nasty feeling.  My question is this, first of do you think based upon my test and stymptoms that I have lyme. Dr.S.H never said I did or didn't.  Obviously being pregnant again I am scared if I will transmit it to the baby so should I go back and see him.  Did anyone that was pregnant feel like i do, I don't even know if I have lyme.  I have never been bite but have many lyme symptoms.  Also would I see it in my baby girl that is 9 monts by now, because no symptoms are present.  Any advice.

I guess my advice is this.. if you are not sick, then don't get too worried about it, you have your family to worry about. If you are sick, and believe you might have lyme, pursue it with unmatched passion.

What I find interesting in your story is that an LLMD would choose to give 10 ten days of amoxy in your situation.

In my opinion, either show/prove the patient doesn't have lyme, or diagnose/treat lyme with aggression.

I'm sorry you are in this frustrating position especially when you are supposed to be enjoying the thought of a new baby. I think your tests point toward lyme. If you look up the bands some of them are very lyme specific.

Here's a list of what your bands are:

30 possible variant of outer surface protein A (on the outer surface of borrelia are various proteins)

39 most specific antibody for borreliosis

41 Flagella or tail

66 heat shock protein. This is the 2nd most common borrelia antibody

I would urge to see your doc for the little one in your belly's sake. But from what it sounds like I wish you had a better one available.
