I have finally decided that tomorrow I will quit smoking.
Now before you all get up on the "soap box", yes I know smoking is horrible for you, whether or not you have LD. I know some LLMD's will not treat you if you smoke.
It was kinda like the light bulb finally went on, you know here I am fighting to recover from LD and still smoking 2 packs per day..DUH.
My question is, have any of you quit smoking during LD treatment? I was wondering if it made any of your Lyme symptoms worse during the initial withdrawal.
I am as prepared as on can be on all other aspects, just curious about Lyme symptoms.
Pretty scary, but at the same time, strangely exciting to think of finally quitting.
First off let me say congrats. and stick with it!! I am in the same boat as you. I finally quit on New years eve. It has been difficult, but I have made it this long, without cheating once, and I know now I can do this!! We need to do this for our health, our bodies need us to be as healthy as possible!! You can do this, it just takes will power and detemination. Be strong!!
