Pain in Glands in Neck and Sometimes under My Arm

Do many of you expierence painful swollen glands in your neck without a sore throat? Started two weeks ago and hasnt let up despite antibiotic use. Thanks for your time.

My first thought was....lymph node.
You have them in your neck, and under your arms...and mid chest...and stomach...and behind your knees.
Just a guess...I am not a Dr. but lets say that your abx are working...and your glands are clogged with all of the dead lyme. So this would cause some irration.
At the clinic I get what is called Lymphatic Dranage sometimes twice a week.
And this is supposed to keep the pipes clean..and it also prevents back up and swelling...
So maybe this would help you out.

It does make sense.
It is a small wand that sends out a electrical pulse, it sort of zaps, and it of course is painless....
the jelly they rub on you in a freezing room is very annoying...:>) Takes about 30 minutes.
I have to get them.....I now wear warm socks..:>)

Oh... I have been treating lyme for ten months using several different antibiotics and natural remedies. Currently I am on Cefurocxime and Zithromax as well as vitamins for energy and immune support. We were considering tapering of the antibiotics for a little bit and  doing a cleanse and some immune support since I have been doing a little better the last couple of months but this glands in the neck issue just came up about a 1 1/2-2 weeks ago.

Thanks for the help. I'm just wondering if this is a common symptom or is it pretty uncommon to have multiple lymph node discomfort and swelling related to lyme or coinfections. If coinfections which ones specifically would be helpful. We have done some treating of Bart but we may need more...I dont think I'll be taking a break from antibiotics as soon as I hoped :) She was using Zithro for treating the bart as I had a horrible reaction to Rifampin? I have been on the Cefr. For many months and She has used it as a combo with biaxin and bicillin shots with me to treat i think mostlymy nuero symptoms.

Thanks so much for that info....I was wondering if anyone else expierenced this as well. I have had that pain under my arm pit for months and even went to the cardiologist and everything was fine. Now with my swollen neck glands I'm starting to think its all lymph node inflammation. I just needed to see if anyone else was going through this...Thanks so much

I have the underarm pain myself though. This all started for me when I started treatment. It's swollen Lymph nodes. Mine are swollen under my arms and on the sides of my neck, right under my ears. They get so painful under my arms that sometimes I can barely put my arm down all the way.

Hello, When I posted that I was having horrible swollen glands in my neck and under my left arm I had xrays and because of other symptoms on my left side even went to have my heart checked at a cardiologist, all tests showed nothing abnormal since i have been doing very well the last few months the swollen glands have subsided i do therefore think it was definilty a symptom of the lyme infection.

Until I started antibiotics 3 weeks ago, the nodes in my arm pits were swollen and very painful. I thought I had cancer! I am better now but I do have swelling in my groin area off and on and, ironically today...my throat!

I guess this disease likes to play with us! As soon as we think we have on pain under control (or at least figured out) another appears.
