I am still getting used to my abx combo, but some here have mentioned I should try this with my combo. I may give this a try in the next few months but I need to know where to get it. I hope it's not only available thru zhang.

Hello,

My daughter is taking Mepron with Artemisinin for Babesia.  I found it at a local specialty pharmacy, but you can probably find it at a natural health food store.  Her lyme specialist said it was difficult to find, but luckily we found it right in town.

I'm taking Artemisinin for Bart/babs, I forget which one. It's an herbal antibiotic. But it's not compatible with another antibiotic you might be on. Make sure to talk to your LLMD first.

I get mine at organicpharmacy.org. Brand: allergy research group- artemsinin 300 caps. the best price.

My doc put me on this cause she didn't want to add another prescription strenght drug. She thought 4 strong anbx are too many at one time.

Hi seeingstars.  What infections do you have and what meds are you taking?

Artemisinin is an anti-malarial used to treat Babesiosis.  I am sure that Zhang's is a very high quality.  I have taken the NutriCology brand.  I believe it is best to take Artemisinin in conjucntion with the meds for Babesiosis.  I recommend taking it under a doctor's care.  It is my understanding that there is a limit on how long it should be taken.

I don't know if I have babs but It's been kinda trial and error since my tests suck and I have symptoms for both bart and babs (more bart than babs). But I want be open minded about this. I thought I'd add some art. after a few months on this combo: biaxin, mino, and plaquenil. I think I want to add bactrim too. I'll have to look for drug interactions before hand.

I am just trying to research the art first. I heard you need to make sure too get the sweet wormwood for it too actually work the way it's supposed to. So I am asking where to get the good stuff for the best price.

Need more peoples take on where to get art. I am looking for the good stuff that will work on babs (if I have it) for an ok price.

I have a lyme friend whose doc put him on this and told him only to buy it from this one place because he trusts this place to offer the strength needed. I'll have to ask him where he got it from but I like options. I don't want to be told there's only one place for this stuff. It makes me suspicious this doc has stock in it or something. Besides that, I've seen his doc, and I don't respect him.

I got my Art. from Dr. Zhang. I was only able to take it for a month (40 days are what is needed for many) since it was too strong for my sensitive condition. It seemed to kill something (Babs) very well and in my case so well that I could not stop herxing. No matter what I did I could not detox enough and got much sicker. But once I stopped I was able to get to a point where I could function again and I am better off of it than I was on it. Now I am looking for some other alternative route
