question on numbness/tingling

As of yet i havent seen my LLMD my 1st appointment i just over a week away!

One of my main symptoms was a weird tingling and numb feeling around my nose and forehead. This lasted for a good couple of months and then seems to of started to get better.

I still get it through out the day but it was permenant before. Its like a weird pulsating feeling. Hard to describe.

But what i have noticed is that when i ever touch my nose it goes all tingly and numb even when i aint getting the feeling. I can bring it on by touching it.

I was just wondering if anyone else has felt anything like this.

I just find it strange how it seems to of improved but its still there and how its feels wierd when i touch that area

Dr. Zhang said the numbness is often caused by vasculitis caused by the Lyme or coinfections.

Numbness and tingling around my nose and mouth and in my cheeks was one of my first symptoms when I got sick. I also initially had a couple of MRIs and all was clear; it took a year for me to get diagnosed with Lyme. It has gotten better with abx treatment but has been one of the more persistent symptoms - comes and goes.
