blisters covering ear

I have small blisters(rash) covering entire right ear and it's very painful and hot. Any ideas?

Could be an allergic reaction or any of a number of other things. It might be a good idea to call your doctor's office and ask about this...they'll probably want you to come in to look at it.

Yes -- I found this yesterday in all my searching (I have a lesion on my foot). What I found is particular only to late stage Lyme and there was a photo of red blisters on an ear. It said the breast is often the site. I will try to find it again, no telling where I got it, but I saw it and just wanted to let you know.

I was wondering if these blisters itch? I use to get these really bad as a kid. They were on my hands. They would itch, were painful and the skin would be hot. As an adult, I get this on my toes. I believe it may be neuropathy. The nerves were damaged and they will itch. They look like little water blisters.------ a raise in histamine levels will also cause this.

They don't itch but my ear has a painful burning feeling. I have had very active neuropathy since the tick bite nearly 3 years ago. Didn't know it may bring on a rash. Will have to look into that. I'm going to try to see my PCM tomorrow and see what she can make of it. She of course doesn't think that the Lyme is "active" anymore so I like to show her any new symptom and keep her on her toes, hoping that one day she'll put the pieces of the puzzle together :)
