Chemical sensitivity from ABX

 I now realize that I have a chemical sensitivity from the prolonged use of these ABX.  This morning I became dizzy an hour after taking a thyroid hormone which is chemical.  This med has no side effect of dizziness  so it is just because it is a  chemical  that I am getting dizzy from it.  I cannot even tolerate vitamins that are not natural.  My muscle pain is much worse and I feel horrible.  I have to go through everything I am taking to make sure it is all natural.  I was not this way before but I did have a history of becoming sensitive to various drugs, just not all of them!  I could not use birth control after a couple years using them.  I develped a sensitivity to anti-histamines which make me extremely anxious now.  And I can not take any kind of anti-depressant.  So I will have to find something that works against lyme and bartonella that is not a chemical drug.  It is a good thing I figured this out myself as the doctor would have put me on one thing after another.  I have had 3 phone consultations with him in the last 3 weeks at a cost of $400 plus all the abx I cannot tolerate.  I knew someone a long time ago that got this way but even worse.  She was exposed to chemicals at work and developed such extreme sensitivity to them that she could not even walk into a department store because of the stuff in the clothing. 

I would suggest if you are in constant discomfort, that you consider the abx are doing more harm than good.  I hope I can find something else that works.

nefferdun - I also got so sensitive to so many things; the same like you with any artificial vitamines, the same with the anti- histamine last summer with my heyfever.

I had / developed many of those sensitivities already in childhood; as I had colds and angina often I was pumped up with abx which was very common in those days. I ended with a severe allergy shock in ER and that was it with many of the abx since then. I cannot say if the abx caused / triggered the allergies or if there was no connection; later usage of abx have caused me a lot of skin rashes which are itchy and mostly wet; it could not be stopped and I looked like a monster sometimes; I felt like walking in a circle: I started at one point but instead of getting rid of my infection I ended with several other things.

I told myself that this is maybe the time for me to really go natural and check other approaches for healing in general. Obviously at least the "no more" -body warning light did work and I try to check and find out where listening to it will lead me. I am in the middle of my journey and some alternative stuff really helped. This illness forced me to learn, learn and learn about all those endless connections and interactions in my body.

It seems as if many of us are on a similar journey. I do very strongly believe that there are ways that work for everybody`s special needs.

I have MCS too and can't go shopping or into any building apart from my own house (and that isn't always good, I do have two lovely girls who help me a great deal and have lots of love.
