I didn't save the tick. I flushed it so that it would crawl back on to me or one of my pets. Those deer ticks are really small and hard to kill. I didn't think about saving it for testing. This is probably going to happen again. I live in an area heavily populated by deer.
I left a message for my doctor. I've been on antibiotics for over a year. I've improved, but I haven't been able to beat this thing. I've had a couple of relapses. I'm currently on Zithromax, Plaquenil, Omnicef, Artemesinin, and Flagyl. I'm on a pulsing schedule. This week is a higher abx time, so hopefully that will knock out anything I might have been exposed to before it can take hold of me. I'll keep an eye out for any rash. I got a rash the first time, but it wasn't bulls eye shaped. I've also never tested positive for Lyme, but I've test positive for babesia and my CD 57 is low.
