hey there, I was wondering how many people are seeing Dr. F in Pa... I would like to compare notes and see if anyone is actually getting better. Thanks
Joanne

I saw Dr F once in Aug of last year... I was bit by a tick in May of 08 and developed an oval rash in June. I basically diagnosed myself when my doc did not recognize the oval rash and I developed 2 more rounded rashes. I did test positive for all 3 bands of IGM in July. Dr F was the first LLMD I saw in Aug of 08. He seemed very nice but put me on diflucan alone without an antibiotic. I did a lot of research and decided that this was not the proper med for me... My treatment was delayed and inadequate and I had a persistent infection which required more than diflucan.

Yes I see the same dr. I have been on treatment for 9months. He wants to put me on Diflucan too, I have not done so. Iwas on tetracyclin for 8month, than had a bad two weeks so he put me on Keflex( i had never heard of it) After a month I was not feeling well and seemed most of my symptoms were comming back. Now he has put me back on Tetercycline.I also started a no carb and no sugar diet about
a month ago. After 10 years of Lyme I do not think he is putting me on enough meds either.I dont have health insurance, or alot of money so it is hard to see other Dr.
