tight jaw anyone?

That is one of my common symptoms, and leads to severe headaches if I don't relax it. I am out of Xanax now so I have to wait until I see my new dr since my old one is too far to drive to. I think the anxiety goes along with the jaw most of the time but mine doesn't always hurt just because I am stressed.

I use the pressure point where the base of the skull goes into the spine. I lie down on my back and either use my own hands/fingers or if my pain is a lot, I have a rock that works great to lie on. Apply pressure, should feel sensitive... but hold it for a few seconds at a time while deep breathing and keeping your jaw slightly open with your tongue toward the back of your mouth. It doesn't always do the trick, but it normally eases it... helps with other pain as well. Hope that makes sense.

my nero gave me Gabapentin 300mg 2x day for 1st week, then 3x day thereafter for headaches. i have had 1 for yrs, it was always with me like my contince friend. no matter what it wouldnt go away, and sometimes it brought in friends called migrains. well this med seems to of helped a lil, its down to a dull throb for 2 days not, ut does hurt more at the end of the day.guess thats due to the thing in my eye and light makes it hurt.

if your headaches keep up maybe you need to checkin to this med.
