1st off plz excouse my spelling,

but what every happen to  the doctors hipocraic outh??  TO DO NO HARM!!  well in my book to not treat is doing harm and to make out like they have no clue, well then i say go back to school. learn as we have been doing, and  we dont get  the big bucks for  it, but we may get somewhat of a life is lucky enough. its not like lymes isnt everywjere, just couse there isnt many cases in some arera's  dont mean squat!! it can  and is happing  all over. i say dotors need to get off there fat wallets and do some homework. not make is feel leftout or left in the cold to suffer.

i have read some many of the letters here and most times i fill like crying and do cry for the folks who suffer and there familys too.

yes i am in my own hell so to speck, but i know when i see something that not right,and i have always been a fighter,maybe its lymes but i could do with a good fight, so i say watchout doc  couse i'm on the warpath now.

everyone get out your best bonets lots of feathers and a lil war paint and fight the systim, remind the doc i call em Fools, about there dang  outh. and that includs in not treating is doing harm..

its just hurts my heart when i read shodow's letter about her sister. my prays are with you and  your family. but it also makes me so mad that a doctor can make you feel so badly. its just worng to me.

mad as all getout, hurting but whats new there right we all are hurting in some way, cant sleep at all. even the meds that worked for 2 days to sleep stoped, how about you?

I am fighting as well.  I took Ambien last night and slept like a baby, even my tingling was gone.  Have you tried Ambien?

Yeah constant pain too. I havent had it under from my neck into and under my shoulder in along time its just been in my neck and shoulders (you know beside the hips arms hands knees and feet) but under the shoulder blade was always such a bad spot and two days ago it is coming back. But I LOVE RESTEROL .
have you ever tried it. When you wake up you are not groggy you have energy.

well as a child i took ridlen so many meds work backwards on me, so if i take a sleeping pill i'll be bounceing off the walls. not good.

today they would of taged me as ADHA. they didnt have that back in my days.
guess its also 1 of the reson why i hate meds today

Rottendog, you're amazing!  I bet when you become some one's friend, you are their friend for life!  I can tell by your posts that you are a very special person, and extremely loyal and honest.  I wish all doctors would take a lesson from you!

Thanks so much for your support - I know everyone else on here feels the same way.  Some times I feel so guilty that my posts are "negative" and often depressing, but if I didn't have this avenue to express my gut feelings, I really think I'd explode!  It is SOOOO unfair!  Unfair that this flipping bug even exists, unfair that the too few doctors that know anything about it need a lesson in "bedside manner" from you, and worst of all, sometimes I think they're operating in the dark too!  The last point isn't really their fault because of the disgusting lack of research and development being devoted to finding a valid treatment for  lyme (and co-infections).  I'm not sure they really know what to do either - scary, huh?  Scary, because so many, many lives are forever changed by this disease.  Then lets throw in the lives of all the people that love them and pray daily for their recovery!

Well, I'm "off" to do more research on a couple other ideas I got from all the forums I belong to.  Take care and God's speed to you for a FULL recovery!

i'm not sure i can teach a Dr. anything, but i dang sure know they need a reminder of there oath. DO NO HARM! and in my book to do nothing is harmming us.
i dont think of myself as specail or anything like that, but it hurts me to read the letters here and so many suffering and no one to help them, in part its due to my own runins with negitive Dr.'s, as my mother was a nurise worked in the ICU. i know how things should go, not saying they do go this way. if so we wouldnt all be here. and yes when i count someone as a friend there are stuck with me, and i will and have gone to bat for em. now i have to go to bat for myself, i guess. i know its a lot easyer to do it for someone else then it is for myself tho...lol
wishing your and yours the best of everything. kick them docs into shape!!
and maybe if you remind them of there oath it will help. i know i plan too

You have to realize that you are worth it! I have had to tell myself that in the last couple months. We are so used to taking care of everyone else and ignoring ourselves. We are worth the effort and the expense to be well! And if you have to kick some Dr. tails you go! Just don't get arrested or anything!

I've had doctors fire me as their patient because I refused to accept the expensive drug treatment they wanted that every cell in my body was screaming at me NOT to take (this was prior to Lyme dx). My current PCP wants me to go back to one of these drug-pushing docs, and I won't do it.

Most MD's hate being knocked off their pedistal. But it sure can be fun being the one doing the knocking...LOL! ;)

I always wondered why they don`t sell some of the abx over the counter?! Doxy for example ?! Is it only b/c mankind would produce too many abx resistant bacteria too quickly ??

People are torpedoed with so much garbage in food, in the air, in all the environment that we are kind of living rubbish dums anyway, so why do we not have access to these meds?? Why can`t we decide and pay a doc only for advice and information ?? We are the ones who are ill, right ?? How come that there are others who can decide when we get which meds and for how long ?? It is really a kind of battle, an ongoing fight for medication. It is unbelievable.

This is some of the core stuff I better not think about ....b/c it makes me sad and mad.

my father always said if you dont eat, drink or breath you wont get cancer but your'll die anyways,kinda sad huh. and then there came lymes, we can not live in a bubble. and if we could. i wouldnt call that living.

i know i'm alive due to the fights i'm haven with getting my treatment. just today i have talk with both the CDC and the health dept. they in turn wanted to know why the ID isnt willing to treat me. i cant belive its to much to ask for, this both makes me MAD and sad. i feel as tho they are rubbin me of my extra strangth that i need to fight the lymes, it shouldnt be used up in fighting doctors.

I do have a postive lymes i know for fact now by the health dept. as the lab contacted them.they inturen contacted me. asking things i couldnt answer. so now i have the weekend to recover b4 monday and the start of a new battle for treatment.

RottenDog -- I am sorry you are so ill, but I believe the fight you are fighting is of extreme importance! (see previous post) Involving the health dept and CDC are a huge start, even if they are not yet helping. They aren't going to care until more and more people fight and argue the way that you are! GETTUM!
