.... you find yourself "husband-free" for a long, 3-day weekend-end BUT, you're in bed anyway flipping channels between Pro-Golf from Texas or "Crime and Punishment" on MSNBC... AND, you are currently under a severe thunderstorm warning but you don't want to turn to the local 'weather' station and/or the "Weather Channel" because Texan golf and cheezy TV are all you can handle right now.....

LOL I'm laughing now but I wasn't too pleased when I saw the electricity truck drive up. I was like....OMG!! I can't believe I did that!!! I've never done that before. The guy was understanding because he had never been out here before and allowed me to get on the phone and pay it. Whew! LOL. Now, I set reminders on my phone so I don't forget.

You know you have Lyme disease when after going to flush the toilet, you look down in the water and see an unbelievable amount of white stuff that looks like I don't know what but it wasn't good. Then you say to yourself Oh My Goodness I must have the worst yeast infection I have ever had! Where are my pills???? Then later you find out someone used talcum powder earlier . But not before you already began to take Nystatin again! OOPS!

You know when you have Lyme ......when the background sound your TV makes is like what the annoying sound used to be at the end of a broadcast day--some might remeber when the screen went blank, with a broadcast bulls-eye, then there is the star spangled banner with the high pitched humming sound. Now you think your TV is making that sound all the time-even when the shows are on. That sound is so load that you get rid of a perfectly good TV set telling your husband something is very wrong with it and you replace it only to find out that the new one is doing the same thing. Then you realize it was your ears ringing all the time.

You know you have Lyme when you use the toilet, flush, then as you're washing your hands you can't remember whether you flushed or not so you have to either flush again or lift the lood to look...thus necessitating another handwashing...

You know you have Lyme when you look at the clock that says 7:00 and can't remember whether it is am or pm (now that it is daylight outside at both times)...

You know you have Lyme when you get lost in your own house looking for something you can't remember what it is....

You know you have Lyme when you go to see the new Terminator movie and your kid has to tell you what the heck is going on and who the heck is John Conner, Kyle what's his name (poor memory),and who is whose Dad? And then you are CERTAIN you have Lyme when you have to ask all this at least 10 times because you forgot the last 9 answers.

You know you have Lyme, when you walk to the icebox, open the door, and stand there for 10 minutes trying to figure out what you walked there for. LOL

You know you have Lyme, when you're searching all over for your phone and it whindes up being in your hand the whole time.

You know you have Lyme when you're calling your daughter the dogs name. (I swear, I do this and it drives me nuts! I will name every.single.name except hers!)

you know you have lymes, when you have to buy pill boxs to keep track of your does, to be sure you dont miss or take double amounts.and always have someone to remind you to take em. ugggggggggg

I did the same thing.  I kept paying my husband's "rental property" electric bill and THROWING AWAY OURS!  The truck showed up and the guy said, "We're not usually sent here to shut off someone's electricity..... so he made a few calls and found out we had a $900+ "credit" on the rental property.... and we owed $900+ on our condo.  No, I am not kidding.  I was in (or currently still am) in denial about this disease, and REFUSED to let my husband take over paying "the bills", until about 18 months ago...................... smhair shocked smhair

Yes, that is what I was going to say! Trying to make a call on the tv remote control or the calculator! Hummm, they must not be at home. . . or maybe I am not at home. If I'm not here, I'm probably someplace else.

You know you have lyme when you are looking at the dog standing by the door wagging his tail and you can't figure out if you have just let him in or you were just going to let him out. You missed that moment. . . forever.

And the wonderful thing about lyme is that you can watch the same movie over and over and not even know it!

This is hairless (as my 4 yr old stepson would say as apposed to hillarious). I know its lyme too when I wake up everyday with a hangover.
Yes you know you have lyme when you buy all kinds of food at wendys after late night work and pay at the pay window then realize when your almost home that you didnt stop at the 2nd window to pick up your food!
