HopingToFindCure,
Here's another hug!
Are your neck muscles really tight? The poppy clicky noise sounds like it is coming from insidide your head when it is coming from the area at the base of your skull. I don't remember what the chiropractor said is back there, but it was swollen. That was in March, when we thought we were dealing with sinusitis. In April, I decided to go the holistic center for a real massage and Reki. They seem to help but are too expensive to get as often as I need. I want to go back to the chiropractor this week if can see me with the PICC line.
I have figured out how to take the detox bath and get my back into the water, and that seems to be getting things to loosen up. For the past two days, I used three bath towels under my upper body, arranged for support of my neck. And only added enough water so that when flat on my back, the water is just touching the bottom of my ears. I also put a hand towel over my belly. The only problem with this is that my knees stick out. Guess I can stick towels on there too, or sit up and add water. I also figured out that when I take a bath, it is better for the PICC line, not to wear the plastic sleeve, or it steams up in there, so I have to keep it sticking straight up along the side of the tub. The hard part is getting out. And then to shower off, get dry, and put on the sleeve, so I can get back in.
I have had good Lyme days when it was raining and bad Lyme days when it was nice out. I also read somewhere on here that the moon phases affect it too.
I don't know if this is helpful, but if nothing else, the visual of my bath desciption should give you something to laugh about.
