Not sure if I spelled it correctly!

 

My llmd thinks I have Bartonella based on my symptoms.  I have not been tested for coinfections, the doc did not seem concerned to run the blood work.  After looking at the symptoms I have many, but not all. 

Are there a few symptoms that are significant to Bartonella?

Can someone tell me if they have been diagnosed with coinfection without having blood work done.

I test negative (via Fry Labs) for all coinfections, but an LLND and an LLMD both have diagnosed me clinically with Bartonella.

My LLMD just diagnosed me w/ bart when he looked at my ankles and feet, along w/ the red spots all over my lower leg. Altho he said the Quest tests for co-infections are worthless, he ordered some for bart, babs, erlich, rocky mt, etc, at my request since my ins will pay. He said otherwise, I'd need about $1500 to get a good co-panel from Igenex and I just don't have it.

3 whiteroses, because of my own bart diag, I'd really like to know which of your symptoms he recognized as bart, as opposed to only lyme? Can you please tell us?

And others of you above, can you please tell me the same about you?

I was also diagnosed with Bart based on symptoms alone. I did take the test and it came back negative. I had every symptoms except one I think .

Symptoms include bottom of feet pain, Rage, Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks. I think these are the more common ones. Im sure someone will post a list of symptoms. There are more.

CajunG, for example, are sore soles and anxiety specific to Bart and not lyme? If they overlap, how does the Dr determine this is Bart, as opposed to just lyme?

Sore soles are VERY specific to Bartonella. Anxiety is too. In my opinion, I don't think they overlap. I think someone can just have Bart and not Lyme and these are the symptoms.

Is it possible to have Bartonella if you don't have red stretch marks looking things?

I'm not sure why the llmd thinks I have Bartonella - I have her a list of all my symptoms 60+. I was thinking that bloodwork would be ordered for co-infections, but the doc did not seem concerned to bloodwork.

I was prescribed Cipro 500 mg twice a day, and I will continue with Doxy 100 mg twice a day!

Also, I have been put on the following supplements:

Solaray Spectro Multi-Vita-Min (4x a day)
Omega 3 Fish oil
Calcium Citrate
And three different probiotics that I need to rotate

I was told to stay away from dairy.
