+Lyme, She has such beautiful, soulful eyes. As friendly as they are, I bet they would protect you with their life if the need arose.

RD, I agree and believe animals and children can sometimes sense what we fail to see in people.

i guess i'll find something out with rocco on tuesday from the vet on his lab results.. i guess if has babs or bart.. that will pretty much sum me up also i'm thinking.. and if he has a co infection is doxy the drug of choice for animals or do they get something else....

RD, I just saw your last post and love reading about Blue and Jewel. Can't wait to see pics of the puppies. lol

James, Good luck with Rocco. I think they do give dogs Doxy too.

Thanks, Scorpio! Yep, that's right! Not only soul, but there is so much innocence in a dog's eyes, isn't there? Hard to describe....

Gorgeous dog, RD!! I'm glad you posted a bigger photo! And sometimes I feel just as you said -- when I don't feel like going on, I know I have to -- because I am their only mother. I am their world. HUGE responsibility, huh?

james i think they put blue on 30 days of bactill (not sure onthe spelling of it). all i know it is helped him. his anitbodies was fighting it well enough when retested 3 months later he didnt need anything else. i pray your baby does as well.

+Lyme. my Jewel get the same look to her face. its why her nic is goofball.....lol i love it
i took them to petsmart for x-mass to have a pic with santa taken, she is sitting pretty as you please, but with her toung hanging out the side of her mouth...lol

scorpio, i know behond a doubt blue would give his life for not only mine but anyone or anything breating. i call him my refferee. 1 day i am getting him his striped shirt. he has gone thro my friends storm door. thinking he was saving me. oops. he has also been thro so much training its not funny. and has come to great use thro the yrs.

i was staying with a friend of mine and a 5y/o boy whent missing. long story short blue found him. he earned stake for life just for that alone. wish he could eat it tho..lol dog food only for him. and i am both scared and elated about the puppies. time will tell.

My dog was diagnosed with Lyme last Spring. She is a usually very energetic dog but began slowing down. My husband thought she was just getting old, but she was only 6yrs old! Then one day her leg went limp and she was hopping around. It was so sad to see her like that so I took her right over to the Vet and the test came back positive for Lyme. She was treated right away. The hardest thing was to trick her into taking the pills, but she got back to her normal energetic self soon after. Now she is now fine as not had any problems in the last year that I know of. The toughest thing is that they can't tell you when something hurts or they don't feel well, so I worry that I may sometimes not pick up on her having issues with it.

this is what happened to my dog.. he was tested for lyme, came back neg, i wasn't convinced.. 2 weeks later, i took him for a walk and he pick up his right rear leg and hobble for a few seconds as was fine.. i started thinking then.. then if i picked him up he would yelp a little because of his joints being twisted or something.. thats when i knew i had to have him treated and re tested for co's.

Omg! All of your babies are sooooo farm cute! I want to hug and squeeze them all. I'm gonna speak country for a moment and say, "Shaaaaaaaa!"

I want to post my baby too! I have a 5lb Pomeranian and she is my life. She is not a dog to me but a part of my family. She definitely keeps me going and loved me unconditionally. You know, I'd probably be so much worse off if I didn't have to get up and feed my animals. That in itself keeps me moving.
