HBOT for treatment of lyme

Hi sick-from-tick.  Like so many other Lyme treatments, I have heard that it has helped some people and not others. I believe it takes many, many treatments. 

From what I understand, if you have Babesiosis HBO treatment can be detrimental.

I'm going to ask my doctor about this. I'd like to have this done to see what happens. Sprirochettes hate oxygen.

I saw a show about this on Mystery Diagnosis. The girl had Lyme Disease and actually moved to Florida thinking she would feel better in the warmer weather. Some of you might have seen it. Her doctor suggested the hyperbaric chamber to "try". With that and antibiotics, she got better. I think the chamber had alot to do with it.

I agree with Ticker----I have heard both good and bad. An acquaintence got really sick from it and had to stop after one or two treatments. Some other friends---a dad and lyme child, did it quite a few times and thought it was helpful. They got a "boost" from it. Our doctor told us we were not "ready" to try it. Our bodies could not "take the hit". I think if a person if able to detox well, they may do OK with the treatment. If not, then the toxic hit could be too hard to handle.

The owners of the hyperbaric chambers started their business because they saw so much improvement with their son's autism symptoms. They wanted to help other people. Unfortunately, the business has closed for some reason. I hope the treatment helps your son. That would be so wonderful.
