My Eyes Feel Like They Are About to Pop Out of My Head

i have been haven this issue for a few weeks not but the time frame is lasting longer and longer each time now. its a pressure in my head and makes my eyes feel like they are about  to pop out of my head, and everything is so blurry. right now i am seeing double.

i was at my PCP today and why waiting to see him i almost passed out. when i told him this he didnt even check my BP or anything. just looked at my hands and face. i am a lil confused about this and worried too.

anyone else have these issues? input would be gratefully accepted thank you.

Hope, thank you for the reply. this issues is a nightmare for me. it messes with me when i cant see. i am scared that the next time it may never clear up.

as for your sig (sorry about my English, it is not my mother tongue) well your is better then mine and it is my only tongue..LOL
i have found that those who dont use English as a first lang. use English properly.

I have been to 3 different eye specialist, 2 of them for the lesion in my left eye. every though everything within arms reach is blurry they say i have 20/20 vision. and relest me from there care.

I don't know what I would do. I think alot I should go to the ER they have to help me right. But ever since I mentioned Lyme to them they get me out the door quick.

I was thinking when I go to Conneticut to see LLMD that I would go to the ER the first night with my bladdar problems, it feels like I have an infection, it might just be my Nuero system playing tricks on me. The Urologist here found a Bacteria in my urine they have never seen before at first they were concerned now there blowing me off.

I figured  if I went to an ER on the East Coast they might be able to figure it out. I don't trust many of the Drs where I live. Not sure if my Insurance will cover Er out of state.

Beth, i can so understand were your coming from there. it feels to me that my PCP has washed his hands of me after finding out i have lyme. b4 that he was so nice and caring, but now he is a hurry to get me out of there as fast as he can.

we shouldn't be made to feel we can not get treatment for other issues just cause we have lyme. this in its self is a form of decimation. and last time i looked it was illegal. since when is having lyme a crime, witch is how it has made me feel.

check into your ins to find out of they cover out of state b4 you go. if they ask why. just say your going on vacation or visiting family or friends. and need to cover all basses.


James, i have the eye twitching thing too, and yes it is very annoying. i hope it lets up for you soon.

ohh yeah blue loves the water, but after it rains and there is puddles he will push me into it to miss walking in one. good seeing eye dog...lol

i just found out i have a EEG set up for the 23rd and a spinal tap for the 28th. they want me sleepy for the EEG, no problem there. but i have to be caffeine free for 24 hrs b4 the test, that is a biggy for me, as i live off my dews :(

i am starting to think my eye issues are in part of a migraine now as it happen to me last night afterwards. but it is lasting for longer times as they go.

i am terrorfied of losing my sight, and or the damage to my brain. and all i keep thinking is no treatment to way to bet it b4 this happens.

Hi. You might want to see an opthalmologist plus have bloodwork done to rule out conditions that may be present in addition to Lyme disease. Why didn't your doctor check your bp? Or run some diagnostic tests on you? Just to rule out high blood pressure, thyroid problems, diabetes, glaucoma, or anything that may be present in addition to Lyme disease. And btw, if your physician isn't offering you any other course of treatment, it may be time to move on. He may be at the end of his realm of expertise in dealing with Lyme disease, and someone who specializes in it or is more fluent in its treatment may better serve your needs. In regard to the pcp you see currently, considering his lack of engagement, you might want to evaluate whether he meets the standard of care you would desire in a general practitioner. What condition is your liver in and have you ever been checked for thick blood. I used to feel like my eyes were popping out of my head. then I got on heparin shots.
